(22 October 2018) “Dialogues on man. The Skies of Europe. Culture, Creativity, Equality " is the title of the event organised and hosted by the Italian Institute of Culture in London on October 24th at 19:00, which will feature art historian Salvatore Settis, who will hold a conference followed by a dialogue with Bill Sherman; moderates Marco Delogu. The intentional destruction of works of art, the negligence that afflicts monuments and landscapes, the decline of historic cities and the spread of urban ghettos are signs (different, but convergent) of a crisis that is not only economic and political, but cultural.  We are unlearning to live with our past, to which we can no longer look back on if not with nostalgia or discomfort.
