(25 October 2018) The Masbedo duo exhibition "Art of memory" will remain open until November 18th at the Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow. Curated by the Italian Institute of Culture in Moscow in collaboration with the Multimedia Art Museum of Moscow, the exhibition presents the work of one of the most interesting artists on the Italian contemporary art scene. The four video installations chosen for the exhibition (Madame Pinin, Fragile, Handle with Care, Ionesco Suite) prompt a reflection on the concept of beauty and its preservation, the care and the intrinsic fragility of art, on the flow and activity of time. The works by the Masbedo duo represent a metaphor where opposites chase and overlap each other. The Masbedo duo was formed in Milan in 1999 from the collaboration of Nicolò Massazza (1973) and Iacopo Bedogni (1970), artists active in the field of visual and installation art. Masbedo conducts research around the cinematic narration through new technologies. Their works spread an intense and emotional narration, digging deep into the subjectivity of the characters.
