Tokyo, Italy at the Mutek.Jp <br> digital creativity festival

(29 october 2018) Established in 2000 in Montréal, Mutek is a festival that promotes the development of creativity in the fields of digital arts and electronic music, the experimentation of new forms of entertainment and the connection between talents in different fields.  Today the festival has assumed international dimensions with editions held in Mexico City, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, San Francisco, and Dubai. In 2016 MUTEK.JP was established as a platform for the internationalisation of Japanese artists, developed over three days of concerts and events. In 2017, more than 60 Japanese and foreign artists performed in the framework of the "Miraikan" Science Museum, in front of a total of more than 7,000 spectators.  The programme includes not only audiovisual performances, but also symposia, seminars, and workshops. This year MUTEK.JP will be held from November 1st until the 4th at Miraikan and several clubs and spaces in Tokyo and will give space to more than 60 artists from 21 countries. As part of its participation in the EUNIC Japan cluster festival, Italy is represented by the artist Michela Pelusio with her audiovisual performance Space Time Helix.
