Jericho – Yesterday, the Center Training Institute (CTI) of Jericho hosted the opening ceremony for the third edition of the Miadit mission in Palestine. The business was founded by a bilateral agreement between the Italian Ministry of Defense and the Palestinian Ministry of Interior, according to which a team of Carabinieri specialized in various professional branches (public order, protection of cultural heritage, scientific investigations…) will hold training sessions in favor of the Palestinian Security Forces, including the Presidential Guard, the National Security Force, the Palestinian Civil Police, the General Military Training Commission and the Touristic Police. The mission provides for a twelve weeks long specialist course, which will involve 30 Carabinieri instructors, selected from the 1st Parachute Regiment "Tuscania", the 7th Regiment "Trentino Alto Adige", the 13th Regiment "Friuli Venezia Giulia," the Investigative Department of the Territorial Force and the Carabinieri Cultural Heritage Protection.
