December 16th, 2015 - The Municipal Theatre of Tunis hosts on Friday, December 18 at 8pm the long-awaited theater tour of Sonics, Italian company of dancers and acrobats. The group will present the public Tunisian with "Meraviglia," a show that has already toured world stages and filled squares throughout Italy, for a total of 400 performances in theaters, squares, festivals and major events worldwide. Its aerial acrobatics are breathtaking, the athletic performances turn the bodies into real visual poems, and the brilliant and multifaceted fantasy of nouveau cirque and acrobatic dance carry audiences of all ages on a "wonderful" journey made of magic and the infinite spaces of human imagination. "Meraviglia" is a modern tale in which animals, flowers and other bizarre creatures appear, where a gentle pat turns into an extraordinary love story suspended in air and where amazing things happen, going beyond physical and imaginative limits. "Meraviglia” was created by Alessandro Pietrolini, founder along with Ileana Prudente of Sonics. Meraviglia reminds us that the only true "elixir" of life lies within ourselves and in the ability to marvel at the simple things.
