The closing ceremony of the 1st Leadership Course organized by the Italian Bilateral Military Mission in Lebanon (MIBIL) took place on Friday 23 March at the headquarters of the Baalbeck Lebanese Army Non-commissioned Officers (NCO) School. The two-week course, which involved in 180 cadets of the third and final year of training in view of assignment to the different Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) units, was conducted by a Mobile Training Team (MTT) composed of psychology and training Officers, who followed a training methodology that alternates traditional classroom activities with multiple practical ones. Given previous success, the Italian Mission is considering the possibility of extending such methodology to cadets also. By virtue of previous success, the Italian Mission is considering the possibility of extending the methodology to cadets as well The MIBIL, operating in Lebanon since 2015, organises, conducts and coordinates training activities in favour of the Lebanese Armed Forces. In the framework of the Italian commitment to support the LAF and following the Ministerial Meeting in Rome on March 15th, a significant increase in training is expected".
