(18 April 2018) Amman signed the first collaboration agreement on the safety and training of workers in the construction sector, on April 12th, by the Minister of Public Works and Construction, Sami Halaseh, and the director of CESF in Perugia (Construction Safety and Training Centre), Cristiana Bartolucci, in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Jordan, Giovanni Brauzzi. CESF's mission in Jordan, which occasioned the signing of the agreement, follows a previous visit held in October 2017 and the agreement with the JCCA (Jordanian Construction Contractors Association) with the support of the Jordanian Ministry of Public Works, which follows an agreement already signed with the Palestinian Contractor Union. The agreement will allow CESF to present a trilateral project to the European Union to support training activities in Italy, Jordan, and Palestine in the construction sector and for the safety of construction workers called "Integrated training and professional centres and entrepreneurial qualification in construction in Palestine and Jordan".
