(23 may 2018) The Italian Embassy in Brasilia this year promotes the "Segundas Musicais", a series of concerts that will go from May to October. "Music has always been an element that unites and exceeds national borders. Voices and sounds of different origins meet and create new harmonies, where communication and the relationship between artist and spectator occur independently of the spoken language. In the belief that Italy and Brazil, among the many strong bonds they possess, also share an important musical and artistic relationship, the Italian Embassy intends to promote events featuring important names in the Italian music scene". "Segundas Musicais" includes five concerts, organised in collaboration with the Clube do Choro of Brasilia, which will host all the events. "Segundas Musicais" will be inaugurated on May 28th with a concert by the Italian artist Tosca Donati, who will perform with Marienne de Castro on the same notes of "Musical notes from the world". This will be followed by concerts by Mafalda Minozzi (June 18th), Stefano Bollani (August 20th), Luca Velotti (September 10th), and Ambrogio Sparagna (October 15th).
