(23 may 2018) Tomorrow the Italian Embassy in Athens will host the inauguration of the Sculpture Garden, an exhibition of works by students of the Academy of Fine Arts, now in its third year. The exhibition, titled "Minotauro Dedalo Labirinto", is part of the "Cartellone di Primavera" of the Tempo Forte Italia-Grecia 2018 programme - a recent initiative launched to strengthen cultural relations between the two countries and to structure a fruitful working method between Italian and Greek professionals. The collaboration between the Italian Embassy and the Academy of Fine Arts was born in 2016 and has grown in order to support young Greek sculptors and to create an artistic and spiritual contact with Italy. This year, the Italian-Hellenic link will be even more evident thanks to the presence of two young Italian artists, welcomed by their Greek colleagues at the Academy of Fine Arts, working together in the installation of the works. As in previous editions, the exhibition will be open to the public until June 29th, every Tuesday and Thursday from 17.30 to 18.30.
