Matteo Cionini presents “Senza Parole”<br>between miming and visual comedy

(19 June 2018) Matteo Cionini is a professional actor and mime. He has been performing all over Italy as well as France, Spain, Germany, Holland, Croatia, the UK, Mexico, Armenia, and Thailand since 2002 while residing permanently in Turin. The artist will soon visit Tokyo to perform his mime and visual comedy show, “Senza Parole”.  The Umberto Agnelli Auditorium of the Italian Institute of Culture will, in fact, host “Senza Parole” on June 25th (directed by Patrizia Besantini with original score by Alberto Mompellio). Cionini is in Japan for the International Theatre Pantomime Festival. After his successful international debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011, "Senza Parole" has been represented more than 70 times in many countries. "Senza Parole" is a comic, poetic, and moving show that unites different generations and nationalities thanks to a universal language made of gestures, smiles, and emotions. Loneliness in the era of social network. A human puppet who discovers his strings and who is pulling them. An orchestra director who tries to tame crazy music.  All this is "Senza Parole", a leap over the words and the boundaries that separate us.
