The official ceremony of the delivery of the original traditional Ruoti dress to Gabriela Rossetti, head of the Multicultural Centre of Rosario in Argentina in recent days in the town hall of Ruoti (Potenza) in the presence of the Muayor, Anna Maria Scalise, and Pietro Simonetti, President of the Coordination of Migrant Policy of the Basilicata Region. The event was attended by Professor Giustino Setteducati, Head of Relations of the European High-Sartorial Chamber, Antonietta Nardiello, president of the Pro Loco of Ruoti and all associations in the territory. The gift is from the Cultural Association for the Recovery of Ruoti Traditions and its president, Felice Faraone, was much appreciated by Rossetti, formerly an Italian teacher at Dante Alighieri in Argentina. Rossetti, originally from Piedmont, has a strong focus and passion for overall Italian cultural traditions and folklore. The traditional Ruoti dress - reads a note - was chosen as a symbol of Basilicata and Lucanian traditions and folklore in Rosario in Argentina. This event marks the beginning of a much wider and more important project that will have great territorial resonance and much more.
