For the European Year of Culture, the Italian Institute Culture in Vienna, in collaboration with the Open House Wien, has organised and will participate in the "Open House Wien!" initiative, on the 15th and 16th of September, from 10:00 to 17:00. The programme includes the exploration of an ancient palace, part of the Italian Institute of Culture, in the suburbs consisting of architectural and decorative elements dating back to the nineteenth and early twentieth century. The furniture and furnishings in the rooms exemplify Italian style and design from 1953 until today. In this context, a long-lasting exhibition organised by the Italian Tourist Board will be inaugurated which, through 19 blow-up photographs, will give the impression of being in front of well known and lesser known countryside, sea, and Italian urban landscapes.
