Theatre, Valerio Apice <br> and The Pulcinellesco pirandelliano

(6 September 2018) One day the "ghost" of Pirandello visits Eduardo De Filippo at the end of a rehearsal. Eduardo says: «Master, please, sit down with me, beside the table, honour me once again with your benevolence, and let me rebuild our past relationships ... Help me break reality from fiction". "Pulcinellesco Pirandelliano" is the theatre performance that Valerio Apice will showcase at the Italian Institute of Culture in Vienna on September 24th, which has organised the appointment in collaboration with the Cultural Association Teatro Laboratorio Isola di Confine. Pulcinellesco is the relationship between language and dialect, mask and actor. Pirandelliano is the dream of being able to explain madness halfway through stage and life, between fiction and reality. Apice was born in Vico Equense in 1974. He is an actor, poet, and theatre educator. He has been working on the mask of Pulcinella since 1997, he is in charge of seminars on acting techniques in Italy and abroad, in collaboration with Universities, Italian Institutes of Cultures, and theatre institutions.
