(7 September 2018) After the exhibitions dedicated to Botticelli, Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Tiziano, which have reached the record number of more than 96,000 visitors, Tbilisi will house about sixty works arrived directly from Palazzo Chigi in Ariccia. From October 11th to November 25^th, at the Georgian National Museum, the public will have the opportunity to admire masterpieces from the Italian Baroque. The exhibition "La scuola di Bernini e il Barocco romano – Capolavori da Palazzo Chigi in Ariccia" offers a complete panorama of genres and pictorial styles that defined the Baroque aesthetic rich in bright colors, theatrical effects and chiaroscuro contrasts. A thematic exhibition, on Rome and its Baroque, symbolized by one of its greatest exponents, Gian Lorenzo Bernini, who dominated with his art almost a whole century.
