(17 September 2018) The Italian Institute of Culture of Tirana, in collaboration with the Polis University, will showcase the theatrical and multimedia show "Pier Luigi Nervi, the challenge of architecture" of the Compagnia dei Masnadieri, under the direction of Elisa Rocca tomorrow at 21.30 at the city park Amphitheatre. Pier Luigi Nervi is one of the major authors of structural architecture in the twentieth century. He is responsible for some of the most beautiful works of contemporary architecture, that are the result of an exceptional combination of art and construction science. Together with other engineers who are particularly sensitive to the synthesis between static and spatial invention, Nervi contributes to the breaking of the formal paradigms of rationalism.
