(18 September 2018) The Italian Embassy in Berlin has organised a Contemporary Talk titled "Dall'Effimero al sostenibile" on Tuesday 9 October at 18:00, in the presence of the heads of the main artistic and scientific institutions of Italy and Germany, including the Triennale di Milano, the MAXXI - National Museum of XXI Century Arts, the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, the International Laboratory of Plant Neurobiology. Cooperation with other creative disciplines, science and technique by artists is not a phenomenon that belongs exclusively to contemporaneity: what function does art have in the evolutionary processes of society for establishing a fruitful dialogue between disciplines? German and Italian experts discuss the impact capabilities of interdisciplinary approaches in coping with the current global challenges and the potential for intermediation of art in sustainable transformation processes.
