(27 September 2018) The Balkan Film Festival will be held from Wednesday, October 3rd to Sunday, October 7th in Tirana, organised by the National Film Centre of Albania, in collaboration with Mibac, the Albanian Ministry of Culture and various organizations. In this edition, the festival will bring together audiovisual professionals from European and Balkan countries to share stories, promote professional relationships, and strengthen the marketing efforts of local productions. BFM is conceived as a unique event based on three main pillars: Education, Development, and Collaboration with a series of panels and numerous networking events that will open numerous windows of opportunity for Balkan filmmakers to learn, promote, and attract funding for future projects and explore sales and distribution opportunities in a regional market.
