The ICE-Agency, in collaboration with ANIMA and ANIE associations, organizes the collective participation of Italian companies in the sector at the OTC 2019 fair, which will be held in the United States, in Houston, from May 6 to 9. The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is one of the most important international events for the Oil & Gas industry, with participants from all over the world. The goal of the conference, according to the organizers, is "to develop scientific and technical knowledge for the safe, ecological and sustainable development of oil and offshore gas resources." The fiftieth edition of the event will be held at NRG Park in Houston. The 2018 edition saw a total of 61,340 participants, a slight decrease compared to 64,770 in 2017. In total, there were 2,451 exhibiting companies, up if compared to 2,349 in the previous year. Overall, there were 111 countries participating in OTC 2018. The most represented countries were China, with 13.5% of visitors, Nigeria (10%) and Great Britain (8.70%). A 1.57% of the participants were Italian, for a total of 417 visitors.
