Andrea De Fusco is a director, photographer and visual artist born in Rome and raised in Venice. A graduate of DAMS in the University of Rome 3, he studied in Paris, where he graduated from ESRA (Advanced School of Audiovisual Realization) and then from the same school in New York. In New York, he began his artistic journey through documentaries, photographic exhibitions and video installations. He lives and works in Rome, Paris and Milan. Among his latest movies there is "In Aquis Fundata", produced by Rai Cinema and Clipper Media. With "In Aquis Fundata" De Fusco is preparing to make a stop in Russia. He will present his film at the Italian Institute of Culture in Moscow on January 24th. The protagonists of the film are five Venetians who continue to find the meaning of this unique city in the water: they are an ax-master, a champion of the oar, an underwater worker, a fish merchant and a fisherman.
