(10 January 2018) Within the new edition of the E3 Cycle The author and Editor, which this year also intends to present contemporary Italian literature in Spain through the voice of its protagonists, the Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid organised a conversation between the writer Giorgio Fontana and with Mattia Carratello, editor at the Sellerio Editore on January 17th. Giorgio Fontana (1981) is a writer, a writing teacher, and a cartoonist. He collaborates with various newspapers and has published several books; with the novel "Death of a Happy Man" (Sellerio 2014) he won the Campiello Prize. Mattia Carratello is editor at Sellerio of Italian and foreign fiction, he edited the Bloom series by Neri Pozza, he was editorial director of Fanucci and editor of foreign fiction for Einaudi Stile libero.  He edited for Einaudi together with Luca Briasco the volume "American literature from 1900 to today. Dictionary for authors ".  Together with Stefano Ratchev he wrote the soundtracks of several films, including Gianna Di Gregorio's "Pranzo di Ferragosto" (Ferragosto Lunch), "Il rosso e il blu" (The Red and Blue) by Giuseppe Piccioni, "Un giorno speciale" (A Special Day) by Francesca Comencini, "Tommaso" by Kim Rossi Stuart and the television series "I delitti del Barlume" (The Vicissitudes of Barlume) from Sky Cinema.
