(16 January 2019) Pirandello featured in the Ukraine next January 20th. The next performance at Kiev's Drama Academic Theatre "Na Podoli", in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Kiev and the Italian Embassy in Ukraine, will in fact be "Six Characters in Search of an Author". The show, under the artistic direction of Master Vitaly Malakhov, will be performed in Ukrainian. The work earned Pirandello the Nobel Prize for literature in 1934, "for his courageous renewal of stage and dramatic art".
