Literature, meeting with Elena Favilli <br> in New York

(4 February 2019) A "creator" is someone who thinks of something that was never thought of before: they can be a scientist, an artist, or an entrepreneur. Italian history is full of creators, first of all Leonardo da Vinci. This year marks the 500th anniversary of his death. Together with the journalist Maria Teresa Cometto, the Italian Institute of New York has identified some well-known professionals who represent the innovative capacity today which is one of the peculiar characteristics of Italians.  On several evenings, in collaboration with the Italian Consulate, there will be events at the IIC headquarters including some of the most interesting creative minds of our time. The series opens on February 7th at 18:00 by Elena Favilli, co-creator of the Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls series, which broke the record on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter, for literary publications. The first volume of Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls was published in 2016 and has since been translated into over 48 languages.
