The 2019 Italian Book Fair, an event held every spring, welcomes its eleventh edition. This year's fair - in the Exhibition Hall of the Italian Institute of Culture in Tokyo from Saturday March 23rd to Saturday March 30th - hosts the exhibition and sale of more than 700 books about Italy (written both in Japanese that in Italian) published in 2016 onwards. Featured are a large number of textbooks for learning Italian, children's books, cookbooks, tourist guides along with general books, not to mention books on literature and art. In addition, the fair also hosts special events, presentation seminars held by the authors on their books published in the past year, reading aloud of illustrated books by the association 'Vivace' and other events related to the titles featured at the event.
