From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
Stockholm - The Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm is presenting a musical project focused on the world of the Italian rap together with the rapper Orlando Trigo (Orlando Stringhi) and the producer Fetti Wav (Gabriele Rossoni). Orlando Trigo and Fetti Wav present their music and their work through six videoclips, in which they tell the path that leads to the creation of a rap song. How is a song made? What is its creative process? The collaboration between the Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm and the two musicians was born during the lockdown imposed by the Covid-19 emergency in Italy. The Institute commissioned Orlando Trigo and Fetti Wav to create an original song entitled "The holidays". Both worked from their own home in Bergamo, one of the most affected Italian provinces due to the pandemic. The isolation did not stop their creativity: in this case, only a microphone, a computer and something to write on are needed to create their soundtracks. From June 15th to June 20th six videos will be published on the Institute's Facebook and Instagram profiles. Together with Orlando Trigo and Fetti Wav we are going to pass through the different stages that lead to record a song: from the inspiration’s research to the beat’s creation, to the writing of the text and the chorus, all the way to the completed soundtrack, that will be released on June 20th.
