Beijing - Marking International Children’s Day, the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing presents the Chinese translation of the book Geronimo Stilton “A Thousand Wonders. A Journey to Discover Italy”. The book is published by 21st Century Publishing House in association with Atlantyca Entertainment. The new publication will give Chinese people the chance to discover Italy with an excellent tour guide, Geronimo Stilton. The mouse journalist most loved by children all over the world will accompany the travellers throughout Italy to discover cities, villages, stories and landscapes. From Rome to Venice, the Apennines to the Alps, our friendly reporter will visit the most famous monuments and places, including UNESCO sites, without forgetting the hidden gems: lesser-known treasures, culinary specialities, places of scientific research, craftsmanship and industrial products. The initiative was devised as a special project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in association with the Italian National Commission for UNESCO and published by Edizioni Piemme-Mondadori Libri to help introduce boys and girls from all over the world to the artistic and cultural wonders of Italy.
