(Mar. 27) - After the 2011 success, Fiat Freestyle Team Picture Awards will start again with an international tour that will lead four teams of snowboarders, skateboarders, surfers and BMX riders in France and Spain. To accompany riders and staff, the official fleet of Fiat Freestyle Team, composed by two Fiat Qubo, three Fiat Doblo, two Fiat Ducato and a brand new Fiat Qubo Trekking Kit Nitro, result of the partnership with the leading American brand producing snowboards. Fiat Freestyle Team Picture Awards will bring together big names of the international action sports scene, such as Stefano Munari and Filippo Kratter (snowboard), Daniel Cardone (skate) and Roberto D'Amico (surfing) from the Fiat Freestyle Team; Simon Gruber and Manuel Pietropoli (snowboard), Dominik Wagner, Ilwan Ricciardi, Andrej Marinèiæ and Ziga Rokovec, members of the Nitro Snowboard Team Road Warriors; Juergen Horrwarth, skater of the Fiat Freestyle Team Germany, the BMX biker Simone "Kid" Baracco and the young international surfing champion Leonardo Fioravanti. Each rider will be constantly accompanied by a photographer and a filmmaker. The tour set off from Turin on March 25 heading Vars, and leading to the Pyrenees, Barcelona and Bilbao. The last day of the tour will be in Hossegor, cult location for surfing in Europe, where all teams will come together to end the wonderful and unique experience. (Ram/Peg)
WHAT IS THE FIAT PICTURE AWARDS
Fiat Freestyle Team Picture Awards is a project developed by Fiat Freestyle Team in collaboration with Facciosnao and Sequence and supported by Red Bull, Quiksilver, Nitro and Vans. During stages and transfers will be made shooting sessions, and the best shots, signed by outstanding photographers - including Matt Georges - will be evaluated by a jury that will select the winning team of the Fiat Freestyle Team Picture Awards. Then the best photos will be the protagonists of a traveling exhibition that will visit several European cities.
