Abu Dhabi - The Chairman of the Defense Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, Nino Minardo, yesterday received the United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Italy, Abdalla Alsubousi, at Montecitorio. The topics at the center of the discussion included bilateral cooperation in the defense and security sectors and the strengthening of economic and industrial partnerships. "The shared vision regarding the new challenges characterizing the regional geostrategic scenario and the consolidated relations between our countries - Minardo emphasized - drive Italy and the United Arab Emirates towards new collaborations in the defense industry as well as in other sectors of innovation." The Chairman of the Defense Committee also expressed to the ambassador his "deep appreciation for the humanitarian effort and contribution to peace and stability of the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East."
