London - The Central Anti-Fraud Directorate, headed by Commissioner Sergio Gallo, along with OLAF and the Territorial Directorate of ADM Campania, are featured in a television report set to air in approximately 80 countries on the British network BBC World Service. The report focuses on combating illegal waste trafficking. The footage will help illustrate, through narrated segments during inspections, how national and European authorities conduct these checks and how an effective waste prevention and control system is structured. The report, filmed today at the Port of Naples, includes contributions from Dr. Alessandra Santillo, Territorial Director of Campania; Dr. Antonio Carroccia, liaison for the Anti-Fraud Directorate with OLAF; and Dr. Luigi Garruto from OLAF.
