Tbilisi - The Italian Ambassador to Georgia, Massimiliano D’Antuono, attended the opening ceremony of the second "Basic Course on Security Sector Reform," organized by the Italian Army's Post Conflict Operations Study Centre (CSPCO) and the Defence Institution Building School (DIBS), in coordination with the European Security and Defence College.
This course on security sector reform is the result of the collaboration between CSPCO and Georgia's DIBS, initiated in 2017. In his speech, Ambassador D’Antuono reaffirmed Italy's concrete and ongoing commitment, including in the field of Defense, to strengthening cooperative relations with Georgia:
“This event represents another step in consolidating the partnership between the two training centers, with the aim of expanding the joint training offer and identifying new forms of collaboration in the future. The course, featuring contributions from CSPCO experts, is an excellent opportunity to enhance capacities and develop skills.” (9colonne)
