Luciana Maniaci and Vittorio Ballato present an interactive workshop in Madrid

On January 21, the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid renews its collaboration with Luciana Maniaci, who, alongside Vittorio Ballato, will present a workshop on expressive writing, music therapy, and presence education titled “Precisely Crazy.”

This workshop, dedicated to emotions and their communication, combines various tools – storytelling techniques, theatrical exercises, music therapy, and expressive methods inspired by psychotherapy and mindfulness – to create an experience focused on free and full self-expression.

The activity, which will center on direct interaction with participants, will be tailored by Maniaci and Ballato to meet the group's needs. The goal is to establish a space with firm rules, where free but purposeful expression is possible.

Luciana Maniaci is a psychotherapist, an expert in autobiographical writing, a trainer at the Holden School in Turin, and a researcher at the Department of Arts, Music, and Performing Arts (DAMS) in Messina. She is also an actress, playwright, and director at Maniaci d’Amore Teatro.

Vittorio Ballato is a versatile instrumentalist, scholar of traditional Chinese medicine, Zen meditation, and overtone and throat singing from Mongolia.

The workshop will take place at 6:30 PM at the Italian Cultural Institute. Admission is free, but reservations are required.
