From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
The Italian Cultural Institute and the Italian Embassy in Tunis are taking part in the international festival “Journées des Arts de la Marionnette de Carthage,” a prestigious platform that provides excellent visibility for Italian creative industries in this field, with the performance “Piccolo Circo di Filo” by artist and choreographer Antonella D’Ascenzi. An Italian creator specializing in dance and visual theater, as well as a choreographer and dancer, D’Ascenzi has developed an artistic project that combines performances with educational initiatives, focusing on the body, objects, and images, with a particular emphasis on gender issues. The performance, scheduled for February 2 at the Théâtre des Régions in the Tunisian capital, is a dance and visual theater piece featuring puppets and video mapping. Aimed at young audiences, it tells the story of a puppet who dreams of becoming a tightrope walker in order to reach the moon. The show blends the worlds of dance and puppetry, powerfully stimulating the audience's imagination through a visually and emotionally impactful sensory experience.
