Ice-Agency is organising a collective participation at the AAHAR 2025 Exhibition, to be held in New Delhi at Pragati Maidan from 4 to 8 March. AAHAR is one of the best known events in Asia in the Food & Hospitality sector. It is a flagship B2B event organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the main trade promotion body of the Indian government. The fair, dedicated to food and beverages, has grown a lot in recent years and is now recognised as the largest event in the sector in India. The food and beverage sector is one of the key sectors offering wide margins of growth for Made in Italy products in India, and tricolour cuisine is among the most popular and appreciated in the country. India imported food products worth €25.66 billion and Italy was the subcontinent's third largest supplier among EU countries in 2023, with a value of €143 million and a 7.2% increase over 2022. The top five products imported from Italy are olive oil, chocolate, pasta, fruit and seeds. Together they account for almost two-thirds of India's total food imports from Italy. The last edition of the fair, held in 2024, covered 110,000 square metres with 1,600 foreign exhibitors and over 100,000 local and international visitors.
