From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
Pimpa, the little dog created by Altan, will be the star of two events in Montréal dedicated to children aged 3 to 7. On 1 February at 10 am, there will be a reading in French at the Italian Institute of Culture. On 8 February, the reading will instead be in Italian. Both events will be curated by Sara Ottoboni, who was born and raised in Chiavari but moved to Canada where she has been living for 18 years. A passionate promoter of Italian culture, she regularly participates in initiatives dedicated to the promotion of the Italian language and literature. During the Italian Week in Montreal, she read in Italian for local audiences and now proposes a reading atelier dedicated to an Italian book translated into French, in order to promote the encounter between the two languages and cultures.
