The Chianti Classico Wine Consortium and the Chianti Classico DOP Olive Oil Consortium, in collaboration with Danitacom, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Denmark, are organizing an event celebrating Tuscan wine: Chianti Classico Through Times. The event will take place on March 3 at the residence of the Italian Ambassador to Copenhagen, Stefania Rosini.

From 11 AM to 12 PM, a masterclass will be led by wine journalist, educator, and author Thomas Ilkjaer, who will introduce the UGA system and the unique characteristics of Chianti Classico wines, including labels and vintage years. This will be followed by a tasting of the latest vintages of Chianti Classico Annata, Riserva, and Gran Selezione. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sample Chianti Classico DOP Olive Oil and Vin Santo del Chianti Classico.

During the table tasting, a special ceremony will take place to award the Ospitalità Italiana certification to 14 Italian restaurants and pizzerias in Denmark.
