As part of the “Ciné Ndogou” Friday series, the Yennenga Center and the Italian Cultural Institute of Dakar are organizing a special outdoor screening of Io Capitano by Matteo Garrone. The film, shot in Wolof across Senegal, Morocco, and Italy, won the Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival and the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Emerging Actor, awarded to Seydou Sarr.

The screening will take place on March 14 in Grand Dakar – Derneville, starting at 7:30 PM, coinciding with the breaking of the Ramadan fast, followed by the film screening.
