Lausanne – Beatrice Belletti, professor of Structural Engineering in the Department of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Parma, has been designated as a 2025 fellow member by the Fédération Internationale du Béton (fib). The title was awarded in recognition of her significant personal contribution to the development of fib’s activities. The Fédération Internationale du Béton is a non-profit association comprising 42 national member groups and approximately 2,500 corporate and individual members across more than 100 countries. It was founded in 1998 through the merger of the Euro-International Committee for Concrete (CEB) and the International Federation for Pre-stressing. The association’s mission is to advance the international study of scientific and practical issues to improve the technical, economic, aesthetic, and environmental performance of concrete structures.
