Algiers – As part of the Ramadan cultural events, the Italian Cultural Institute of Algiers is organizing a screening of the documentary Il cammino – Viaggio in Calabria by Mattia Leonardo De Blasi. The event will take place on March 27 at 9:30 PM in the multipurpose hall of the institute. The film tells the story of a thirty-year-old living in Milan, trapped in a job that distances him from his true self. His chaotic life, filled with sacrifices, is marked by uncertainty about the future. One day, he finds the strength to embark on a journey to the heart of Calabria to rediscover himself and start anew. During his journey, he meets a young Calabrian woman and forms a bond that will change his life forever. His decision to stay in Calabria becomes a symbol of his return to his roots, his land, and the peace he was seeking.
