The University of Foggia has achieved a significant milestone in the Erasmus program, marking a notable increase in student participation. In the latest mobility call for study programs, 598 applications were submitted, reflecting a 54.1% rise from the 388 applications recorded the previous year. This surge highlights the growing interest in international study opportunities and strengthens the university’s position among Italy’s most active institutions in global mobility.

The increase is not limited to students. The Erasmus calls for the 2024/2025 academic year also saw high participation rates among teaching and administrative staff. Applications for staff training from technical-administrative and library personnel rose to 86, compared to just 20 last year. Likewise, applications from academic staff reached 63, marking a 13% increase.

Additionally, the University of Foggia has recently approved the "Unifg takes care of us" project, which introduces new initiatives to improve services for international students and establishes a dedicated scholarship for refugee students under the UNICORE project.
