Brussels - A family that emigrated from Friuli Venezia Giulia to Belgium, and its success story. The construction company of the De Cesco family is headquartered in Brussels, counts nearly 200 employees, and can rely on extensive experience in the construction industry. These days, the family - Adriana and Nicola De Cesco, accompanied by his daughter Claudia and two grandchildren - is in Italy to meet with the President of the Regional Council of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Franco Iacop. The President first met the De Cesco’s - originally from San Martino di Campagna, in the municipality of Aviano (Pn) - while he was in the Belgian capital for a meeting of the Committee of the Regions. At the first opportunity, President Iacop invited them to Trieste, at the headquarters of the Council, to "demonstrate the closeness and appreciation of the institutions for the migrants who were able, with great sacrifices, to establish themselves successfully elsewhere."
