(26 February 2016) The Adler Pelzer Group owned by Paolo Scudieri, which designs, develops and manufactures components and systems for the transportation industry, opened in Taicang, China, a new soundproofing systems and acoustic comfort center, intended to become a hub for all research and development activities in Asia. The one in Taicang is the seventh research center owned by the Group worldwide. The milestone comes exactly ten years after Adler Pelzer’s first arrival in China. The new Hub will support local suppliers of materials achieve the technical and quality objectives required to provide the global platform with standardized solutions. The research center of Taicang will also provide customer service, from the proposal for new cars to the virtual simulation solutions and component design. In 2006 the Group Adler Pelzer inaugurated its first plant in Chongqing, thanks to the support of Andy, a Chinese partner already in the business of products to cushion the noise in automotive. Today the Neapolitan group has 10 production sites in China, serving 26 customers in Asia, producing a turnover (in 2014) of €145 million and employing over 2000 people. Established in 1956 by Achille Scudieri, who understood the latent potential of polymers, Adler Pelzer is headquartered in Ottaviano (Naples) and is the first Italian manufacturer of vehicle systems for acoustic and thermal comfort and coatings and panels for the doors and interior mats.
