Oslo. Eighty-five years after its maiden voyage in February 22, 1931 and after a two year break to update the ship, the training ship Amerigo Vespucci unfolds its sails once again in the wind. During 2016, the eighty-fifth anniversary of its launch, after visiting the main Italian ports the Vespucci will visit those of Northern Europe in light of the 2016 Education Campaign 2016 in favor of the Naval Academy's students. The older units serving in the Navy - which has a long and glorious history and remains unsurpassed in its elegance and grandeur - will be in Oslo, moored at Vippetangen Pier, near the Akershus Fortress from August 22 to 25, as the website of the Italian Embassy in Norway communicates.
