(17 April 2018) The ICE Agency organises a collective participation in Project Lebanon 2018 in Beirut, June 26th-29th. The fair dedicates ample space to construction, building materials and related machinery, as well as to furniture and contract. In 2017, the total value of real estate transactions grew by 18.95% on an annual basis. Over the course of this year, a programme of infrastructural development works will begin which will include 250 projects whose total value equal $16 billion. Construction will be financed by the World Bank, the European Union, the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Islamic Development Bank. Furthermore, in the Oil & Gas sector, a consortium made up of ENI, Total and Novatek has obtained exploration rights in Lebanese waters. The first exploration will begin in 2019 and preparatory work will begin on exploration work in 2018. (9colonne) In 2018, preparatory work will begin on exploration operations. (9Colonne)
