Cuisine week: a seminar on agro-food <br> quality in Luanda

(14 November 2018) Among the many differences presented by a product of a commercial brand and one of a typical geographical origin, one stands out more: while the first can be achieved (more or less) in every part of the world, this cannot apply to the latter, as it is the flagship of a given territory and representative of a specific production tradition. So can a country develop a system to protect its typical food products, freeing itself from the yoke of commercial taxation?  Is it possible to aspire to sustainable agricultural productions of high added value, which enhance their land, without taking anything away from them? It is also and above all to this question that we will try to give an answer during the III Week of Italian Cuisine, which will be held from November 19th to 25th 2018 in Luanda as in the rest of the world, on the basis of the success of previous editions: in 2017, more than 1,400 events were organised in 108 countries. Among the initiatives organised by the Italian Embassy in Luanda, particular emphasis will therefore be on a seminar on organic food quality systems to be held at the Belas Auditorium at Cidade Financeira in Talatona on November 20th and 21st  at 10:00. With the food protection expert, Alessandra Narciso and with chef and historian of Italian cuisine, Stefania Aphel the geographic indications, agricultural eco-sustainability, zero-kilometer products and farm development.
