The classical music concert with the Italian artist Gianfranco Bortolato, accompanied by the Australian pianist Anthony Halliday will take place on Thursday, January 24th from 18:30 to 20:00 at the Italian Institute of Culture in Melbourne. Gianfranco Bortolato, oboe soloist of the Orchestra of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma is considered one of the best oboists in the Italian scene. Born in Venice in 1964, he began studying the oboe at the "B. Marcello" Conservatory of Venice, achieving top marks and honours under the guidance of M ° B.Baldan. Anthony Halliday, world-renowned organist and pianist, performed numerous organ and piano concerts in prestigious venues in Europe, Asia, and Australia, including: Westminster Cathedral and St. Paul's Cathedral in London, Cologne, St. Peter's in Rome, the Sydney Opera House, and at the Melbourne Concert Hall. He also had the honour of performing for Pope John II, His Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and other dignitaries.
