The Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels hosts the final international event celebrating the 150th anniversary of Luigi Einaudi’s birth (March 24, 1874), the first President of the Republic elected by Parliament after the Constitution was approved in 1948. The event is scheduled for February 18 at 6:30 PM and will feature speeches by the Italian Ambassador Federica Favi, the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute Pierre Di Toro, and the President of the European Movement – Italy, Pier Virgilio Dastoli. This will be followed by a screening of the Rai documentary Visioni 150 – Einaudi, directed by Graziano Paiella. Guy Verhofstadt, President of the European Movement International, will then deliver a keynote address. Representing the "National Committee for the 150th Anniversary of Luigi Einaudi’s Birth," Domenico Siniscalco, a member of the Honorary Committee, and President Giuseppe Vegas will join remotely.
