Dec. 20 - Miu Miu strengthens its presence in Selfridges, one of London's most famous department stores, with the creation of a new space dedicated to accessories, which effectively widens the existing shop. The latter, designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, occupies 150m2 on the second floor of the mall. The exterior of the new area was built with large display and filled with mannequins covered in damask. Inside, the shop becomes a bridge that transmits the brand’s strong identity (owned by the Prada Group). The damask is also found along the walls of the store, decorated with tents to make the area as welcoming and comfortable as possible to the customer; finally, the windows are made of polished brass.
