Dec. 31 - Segafredo Zanetti Espresso announced the opening of a new café in Speyer, historic city in southern Germany. Speyer was founded by the Romans more than 2000 years ago and, thanks to its historical and cultural heritage, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The cafè Segafredo Zanetti Espresso is located in the new shopping center Postgalerie Speyer, created in the building that was once the post office. More than 10,000 people a day visit the shopping center and about 600 specialties of coffee are served every day. Sergio da Silva, the franchisee, is a true ambassador of Italian Lifestyle and, thanks to the collaboration with Segafredo Zanetti Espresso, the inhabitants of Speyer can now enjoy the original cappuccino and eat home-made cakes and sandwiches. And, of course, true Italian espresso.
