Tokyo – The Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo will turn into a jazz stage on Friday, October 3, with a concert by trombonists Filippo Vignato, Federico Pierantoni, and Lorenzo Manfredini, better known as the Trio Sliders. Drawing inspiration from the tradition of brass ensembles, the group explores improvisation and creative freedom, transforming a minimal setup of three identical instruments into a boundless soundscape. The trio will perform pieces from their self-titled album, released in autumn 2024 on HORA Records, blending original compositions with fresh interpretations of works by some of the great masters of jazz.
