Hamburg – With autumn, the Italian Cultural Institute in Hamburg resumes one of its most popular events for families: animated story readings in Italian led by Silvia Ferioli and Francesca Parenti. The series “Nursery Rhymes and Stories in a Suitcase” is dedicated to children aged 0–3 and 3–7.
The next session will take place on October 6 at 3:30 pm, with nursery rhymes, songs, and picture books for the youngest participants, alongside a special space for parents reading with their children. From 4:30 pm, the program continues with Stories in a Suitcase, the familiar animated reading format for older children, enriched by a creative workshop.
Through a selection of illustrated books, Silvia and Francesca bring stories to life using two-voice readings, Kamishibai, and other techniques. Ferioli, an architect and avid traveler, combines her passion for photography and reading, while Parenti, a translator and Italian teacher, is dedicated to illustration and children’s literature.
