Buenos Aires — The Italian Cultural Institute in Buenos Aires will open its doors to the public on 27 November from 4:30 p.m., offering an afternoon of free activities for anyone interested in the Italian language and culture. Visitors will be able to explore the Institute’s 2026 course programme and take a free placement test to assess their level before enrolling.
Throughout the afternoon, participants can attend short thematic lessons in Italian, suitable for all levels. Sessions include “May I offer you a coffee?”, “Tiramisù!”, and “Roman first courses”, each designed to approach the language through everyday situations and culinary traditions. Guests will also have the chance to join a guided tour of the exhibition Viaggio in Italia, currently displayed in the Institute’s Sala Roma, which features historic Italian tourism posters showcasing the country’s landscape and visual heritage.
